"Putting it to Paper” In-Person
The title of this workshop is a play on the idiom, “Put it to the test.” Whether you are a seasoned writer or artist, or someone dabbling in the creative arts for the first time, there is often the question of what will last the test of time.
While we can never know what will last, this class invites participants to live into that question and to play with putting what feels meaning "to paper." The recommended medium will be a three-ring binder but any notebook or filing system will do.
We will begin each class with a fun, creative warm-up and then delve into the act of choosing items we’d like to put to paper, whether it be essays, poetry, photo collages, or even lists of places we've been or what we love. We’ll work on our pages during class, and “home-work” will be encouraged but not required.
Join this class to create a long-lasting and meaningful compendium of what’s important to you and what you’d most like to share with others.
